Hard Rock grupas Monro un Thrash Metal apvienības Husquarn / Huskvarn bundzinieks Juris Siņicins 1997. gadā iet bojā autokatastrofā. Viņa partijas dzirdamas 1995. gadā apgāda BALSS paspārnē izdotajā albumā To piedodu es tev. 2003. gadā autoavārijā dzīvību zaudē LĪVI ritma noteicējs Dainis Virga. 2004. gada 23. maijā, Rīga - Jelgava šosejas 11. kilometrs, kļūst par pēdējo pieturas vietu Prāta Vētra / BrainStorm basistam Gundaram Mauševicam, plašāk zināmam kā Mumiņš. Doom Metal kolektīvs Heaven Grey ceļu satiksmes negadījumos zaudējis pat divus savus dalībniekus. Sigvards Blažēvics (ģitāra) nositas 2004. gadā, bet Ansis Melderis (vokāls) uz labākām koncertu skatuvēm dodas jau gadu vēlāk. Mūziķa balss ir dzirdama sastāva abos pirmajos albumos Memory River (1996 / Mapl Music) un Northwind (1999 / Soundless Productions).

DOWN THE RIVER

SUS DUNGO, first and foremost is dreamlike beautiful Music. Yes, yes - exactly dreamlike, this is not plain epithet. While listening to collective's records, absolutely realistically, one can hear chants of a forest fairies and ripple of water course. It's like a colorful voyage, that is alike stylistically and airy filled with Alt-Country, Neofolk and French Chanson, as well as natural lightness and intoxicant-free trance. These were my impressions while I was listening to this Latvian septet's debut CD entitled RASĀ PĒDAS (June 12^th, 2013 / self-released).

All-female mini orchestra's (acoustic guitar, banjo, drums, percussion, harp, bass, electric guitar, ukulele, flute, keyboard, accordion, piano, vocal) second full-length studio effort DOWN THE RIVER (April 8^th, 2015 / self-released) is even more mythical felt, thou lyrics are not about dragons, princesses and knights, sound paintings pump up in mind by itself every time this compact disc spins on my player, yet there's no vintage, old school, or anything like that, touch to this album, it's fresh like spring flowers, calm as the winds of Zemgale flat and enjoyable as the good series of Showtime and HBO.

Lyrics of both albums are brilliant, but it would be nice to have a bonus versions of this Musical material with instrumentals only since they deserve to be heard singly. Be sure to purchase the hard copy of CD since not only Music is fantastic, but so is also a box, designed by photographer Helēna Spridzāne and graphic designer GatisTrikulis.
